ARQUEOWEB  is a section of HÉLADE (electronic journal on Ancient Studies), which was created to make available on the net for students, scholars and anyone interested in ancient societies the material culture used in recent researches for master and/or doctorate degrees. 

Here, you are going to find not only archaeological remains, but also texts and an specialized bibliography related to the research themes published by ARQUEOWEB. The first theme chosen was "Burials and Funerals", once it allows different kinds of approaches - ex: the study of burial rites and its use into society's political economy, Hero’s worship, the social meaning of death, etc.
